It’s All Gaga: Lady Gaga First to 12,000,000 Twitter Followers!

The milestones keep a coming for Lady Gaga as she has become the first Earthling to reach the lofty target of 12,000,000 Twitter followers. Gaga accomplished the feat Thursday, July 28, 2011 and as of this writing has 12,079,517 followers. She is ahead of Canadian teen Justin Bieber by about 800,000 followers.

Lady Gaga was the first to hit 9,000,000 Twitter followers, pulling that off in March of 2011 and since has eclipsed new milestones every two months or so. Kelly Osbourne Joins Winehouse Family at Jazz Club Tribute

Kelly Osbourne joined Amy Winehouse‘s family at her late pal’s favorite jazz club in London on Thursday night (28Jul11) to celebrate the tragic star’s life.

Ozzy Osbourne’s daughter jetted into the British capital earlier this week (beg25Jul11) to pay her respects at Winehouse’s funeral, following the Rehab hitmaker’s sudden death on Saturday (23Jul11).
On Thursday, the singer’s dad Mitch handed out items of the star’s clothing to fans holding a vigil outside her home in Camden, north London, and he followed up the gesture by joining the singer’s close friends and family at Jazz After Dark in Soho.
Guests, including Winehouse’s boyfriend Reg Traviss and singer Eliza Doolittle, exchanged stories and memories of the star throughout the evening.
Meanwhile, Osbourne was photographed giving Mitch Winehouse a tender hug, while the late singer’s mother Janis laughed as she swapped her own tales of the iconic star.

Ashley Greene to Roommate Kellan Lutz: ‘Don’t Bring Anyone Home. Ever.’

Ashley and Kellan on the set of  New Moon.

We guess they didn’t get sick of working with each other, because Twilight stars Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz are now planning on becoming roomies. Hollyscoop.com talked to Greene about how her new living arrangement is going to work.

“We have been discussing possibly sharing a place in New York because we both always talk about how much we go and how much we love it,” Greene told Hollyscoop.com at the Ella Moss 10-year anniversary event.

“It’s quite expensive to have a place here and there. I have a place in New York right now. We are kind of talking about maybe trying to find…a two bedroom. It’s going to be cheaper than what I have now. We are going to try to find something. Hopefully we can both agree on something.”

And while their relationship is strictly plutonic, we can’t help but wonder if there might be a budding romance going on.

“I think the rule is don’t bring anybody home, ever,” Green told HS.

The two are apparently BFFs off set, and they play adopted siblings in Breaking Dawn so it would sort of incestual if they did hook up. .

Lutz says of their rooming together: “We’re never here at the same time but we both love New York. So we’d be roommates without being roommates… more like housemates.”

eat Loaf Collapses During Pittsburgh Concert, Treated By Medics

Meat Loaf fainted on stage during his Pittsburgh concert Thursday night, but that didn’t stop him from finishing the show.
The 63-year-old was in the midst of singing “I Would Do Anything For Love” when he suddenly collapsed. Paramedics rushed on stage and treated Meat Loaf for an asthma attack. Just 10 minutes later Meat Loaf was back to performing.
“Like twice as many of you, I f**king fainted. I have asthma … I can’t breathe … and then … oh wait, I forgot … I got poked by a pin and bled half to death … and then I got slapped in the face and my tooth is loose,” he told the audience.

Nirvana: Nevermind 20th Anniversary To Be Released

Released in September 1991, Nirvana’s sophomore album and major label debut elevated Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl from a critically acclaimed Aberdeen, Washington, cult band to generational spokesmen who’d unwittingly created a cultural shift and musical touchstone. Rising to No. 1 the world over by year’s end and ultimately selling over 30 million copies worldwide, Nevermind would come to be much more than one of the most successful and influential albums of its or any era.  As the album that returned unaffected rock ’n’ roll integrity and passion to the top of the charts, Nevermind would prove a singular inspiration to fans and musicians alike over the last two decades–and will undoubtedly do so for generations to come.
Now on the occasion of Nevermind‘s 20th anniversary, Universal Music Enterprises presents a full spectrum re-release worthy of such a pivotal classic. With configurations ranging from a 4-CD/1-DVD Super Deluxe Edition to a standard digital/CD remaster of the original album, the 20th anniversary reissue of Nevermind makes the most of the occasion, unearthing literally dozens of previously unreleased recordings, obscure B-sides, alternate mixes, radio sessions, studio rarities and live recordings, including a 1991 Halloween concert at Seattle’s Paramount Theatre in its entirety.
The limited, numbered Super Deluxe Edition more than lives up to its name as one of the most expansive and ambitious collections of its kind with only 10,000 copies available in North America, and another 30,000 for the rest of the world. The Super Deluxe features not only the original remastered album and accompanying studio and live B-sides, but the first full official release of the pre-Nevermind demos recorded at producer Butch Vig’s Smart Studios, as well as boombox recordings of subsequent rehearsals through which the listener can actually experience “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” “Come As You Are,” “On A Plain” and others that take shape before his or her very ears. The Super Deluxe also offers an altogether new perspective on the finished Nevermind album exclusive to this format in the form of the Devonshire Mixes: the album as produced and mixed by Vig as opposed to the commercially released final version produced by Vig and mixed by Andy Wallace. Rounding out the Super Deluxe are a pair of previously unreleased BBC recordings and the aforementioned 1991 Paramount show available for the first time and exclusive to this format on CD and DVD (which also features all four music videos from Nevermind), as well as a stunning 90-page bound book full of rarely and never- before-seen photos, documents and various other visual artifacts of the Nevermind era.
