Alec Baldwin Involved in Incident With Photographer

Actor Alec Baldwin has been involved in another altercation with a photographer.

The alleged incident occurred on Tuesday in New York and there are conflicting reports surrounding who the aggressor was.

According to TMZ.com and sources close to the couple, Baldwin and his wife Hilaria were grabbing something to eat when the shutterbug became overzealous.

However, the photographer insists he did not approach the couple aggressively.

He tells WENN, “I was taking video and asking questions. Ultimately I was doing my job.”

Baldwin’s newborn daughter, Carmen Gabriela who was born on Friday, was not with the actor at the time of the incident.

The actor and the photographer, who both admitted to pushing each other, have decided not to press charges and the police have reportedly closed the case.

This isn’t Baldwin’s first run-in with paparazzi. In June, he was accused of hitting a photographer, after obtaining a marriage licence in New York.

Alec Baldwin Disappointed by Publicized Emails

Alec Baldwin has expressed his disappointment after private emails exchanged between himself and Shia LaBeouf were made public by the Transformers star on Wednesday, after quitting their Broadway play Orphans.

LaBeouf was due to make his New York stage debut opposite Baldwin and Tom Sturridge next month, but he bowed out of the show due to “creative differences” after apparently clashing with the veteran actor.

LaBeouf published screen shots of his email correspondence with Baldwin, director Daniel Sullivan and playwright Lyle Kessler on his Twitter.com page in a bid to explain his sudden decision to leave the production.

In one exchange, LaBeouf apologizes to Baldwin “for my part of a dis-agreeable (sic) situation”, while Sullivan’s reported response reads, “I’m too old for disagreeable situations. you’re one hell of a great actor. Alec is who he is. you are who you are. you two are incompatible. i should have known it. this one will haunt me. you tried to warn me. you said you were a different breed. i didn’t get it.”

Baldwin writes, “I don’t have an unkind word to say about you. You have my word,” to which LaBeouf replies, “same… good luck on the play. you’ll be great.”

The 30 Rock star has since told the New York Times that he and those involved inOrphans were “very disappointed” by LaBeouf’s decision to go public with the emails.

He says, “You expect communications to be private, because everyone wants this process to be as collegial as possible. Everyone is very sad about what’s happened.”

Meanwhile, Orphans producers have drafted in 3:10 to Yuma villain Ben Foster to replace LaBeouf as the emotionally unstable character Treat. He is due to join the cast for rehearsals on Friday – and LaBeouf is thrilled by the casting.

He tweets, “Ben Foster is a beast. He will kill it.”

The revival of Lyle Kessler’s 1983 play is still scheduled to open for previews at the Schoenfeld Theatre in New York on March 19. The production will officially launch on April 7.

Alec Baldwin’s Airplane Behavior Get His Supermarket Ads Pulled

Alec Baldwin‘s ads for the supermarket chain Wegmans Food Markets have been pulled after he behaved badly on an airplane.

The actor had taped several ads for the New York-based supermarket chain after he told the chain his mother (who lives in Syracuse) is a fan of the chain. However, the chain pulled the ads (which were set to have aired over the holiday season and had previously aired during the 2010 holiday period) before airing them after news of Baldwin’s behavior on a recent flight surfaced, with a representative noting: “We had perhaps a couple of dozen complaints, and we take complaints from our customers seriously.”
Baldwin was ejected from an airplane at Los Angeles International Airport on December 6 when he refused to stop playing the game Words with Friends and turn his phone off during a flight.
Baldwin stars in “30 Rock,” with a new season of the show premiering on January 12.

Alec Baldwin Vows Not to Use American Airlines Again After Getting Kicked-off Flight

Just a day after American Airlines kicked off Alec Baldwin from one of its flights, the ’30 Rock’ celebrity has blasted the airlines and claimed that he was singled out for not turning off his phone while other passengers’ were ignored of the same act.

The incident happened on Tuesday when Baldwin was travelling from Los Angeles to New York. The angry actor said that he would never use the airlines again. He also tweeted, “Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving,” adding a hashtag, “#nowonderamericaairisbankrupt”. In another tweet, he said, “#theresalwaysunited,” adding, “But, oddly, 30 Rock plays in flight on American.”

Writing in the Huffington Post, he criticized airlines’ and airports’ excuse of making air travel experience ‘inelegant’ in the name of security after 9/11 attacks. He also slammed the U.S. airlines, claiming that the standards of these flights deteriorated terribly with filthy planes and cuts in jet service to less-popular locations adding fuel to the problem.

Responding to Baldwin’s remarks, the airline, on its Facebook page, posted, “Since an extremely vocal customer has publicly identified himself as being removed from an American Airlines flight on December 6, we have elected to provide the actual facts of the matter. This passenger declined to turn off his cell phone when asked to do so at the appropriate time.” “The passenger ultimately stood up (with the seat belt light still on for departure) and took his phone into the plane’s lavatory. He slammed the lavatory door so hard, the cockpit crew heard it and became alarmed, even with the cockpit door closed and locked,” American airlines wrote.

When flight attendants went to check on the situation, the airlines found Baldwin as extremely rude to the crew. He was also using offensive language against them. Due to these factors, the passenger was removed from the flight.

Upon arrival in New York, fellow passenger and champion boxer Oscar De La Hoya told reporters that Baldwin was actually turning off his smartphone but he just got a little angry.

Meanwhile, the actor has deactivated his Twitter account and asked his 600,000 followers not to follow him. “Let’s play a game called Mass Unfollowing. I want to crash this acct and start again,” he tweeted.

Alec Baldwin Kicked Off American Airlines Flight Over Mobile Game

Alec Baldwin’s love of the mobile game Words With Friends got him kicked off an American Airlines flight this week. Baldwin was escorted off the plane Tuesday afternoon after apparently not listening to a flight attendant’s instructions to turn off all electronic devices.

American Airlines defended their actions. “Our flight attendants followed federal safety regulations regarding electronic devices,” the carrier tweeted after the incident.

“We do our best to treat all customers with the utmost respect regardless of who they are,” American Airlines added.

Baldwin also took to Twitter to speak out about his removal. “Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving,” the 53-year-old wrote. “No wonder American Air is bankrupt.”

The 30 Rock star later caught another American Airlines flight out of Los Angeles, but he vowed it would be his last. “Last flight w American. Where retired Catholic school gym teachers from the 1950’s find jobs as flight attendants,” he tweeted.

Baldwin’s rep also released a statement. “Alec was asked to leave the flight for playing Words with Friends while parked the gate. He loves WWF so much that he was willing to leave a plane for it, but he has already boarded another AA flight,” the rep said.
