Aly Raisman Heartbroken Over DWTS Elimination

For Aly Raisman, not winning Dancing with the Stars was “heartbreaking.” The Olympic gymnast and her partner Mark Ballas were the first couple eliminated on Tuesday night’s season finale. They finished fourth behind Jacoby Jones in third, Zendaya in second and Kellie Pickler in first place.

“Right when they announced [our elimination], it was just heartbreaking. You work so hard and everyone wants to win,” she admitted to People magazine after the show.

“When I really stop and think about how lucky I am to be on the show, and what an amazing opportunity this was, and how much fun I had, it’s okay,” she said. “We have absolutely no regrets. We worked so hard and we had so much fun, so that’s what counts.”

“I was cheering for [the remaining contestants]. They were amazing. It was awesome. It was fun to watch. I was happy for them,” Raisman added.

Meanwhile, Pickler told Us Weekly magazine that she was “overwhelmed” after her win. “I’m overwhelmed with joy. I’m kind of speechless for the first time! Usually I can’t be quiet! Usually I’m just spitting out words left and right, and now I don’t know what to say,” she said.
“We’ve made so many memories out here on this dance floor and in the studio. We’ve all worked so hard to be her, and it’s just overwhelming. But in a great way,” Pickler added.

Dancing with the Stars Week 4 Results: Lisa Vanderpump “Relieved” By Elimination

Lisa Vanderpump sees her elimination in week 4 of Dancing with the Stars as a relief, not a disappointment. In fact, Vanderpump says she never expected to win the competition.

“It’s been six long weeks! I’ve got two shows, I’ve got two businesses and a business under construction. I have a lot going on!” the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and restaurant owner said after the results show.”We knew we weren’t going to win . . . I’m a 52-year-old restauranteur, give me a break!”

The elimination came after a rough week for Vanderpump. She was sick with a cold and fainted during rehearsals. Vanderpump says she didn’t want her illness to stop her from performing her cha cha with partner Gleb Savchenko. “I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t do it,” she said. “I knew I wasn’t well rehearsed, but I wanted to give it my best try.”

“I have an element of relief, to be honest, because I have been feeling so crappy,” she added. “I feel better today. It’s been an incredible experience, and you can’t minimize it, but wow, it’s been tough, absolutely.”

Savchenko said he has found a lifelong friend in Vanderpump. . “The whole experience was amazing,” he said. “I’m going to miss the laughs – the jokes she makes. She’s got a great sense of humor. I think we’re friends for life. Seven weeks together, every single day. I’ve spent a lot more time with her [lately] than with my wife.”

The remaining competitors are: Sean Lowe, Kellie Pickler, Jacoby Jones, Victor Ortiz, Aly Raisman, Andy Dick, D.L. Hughley, Zendaya and Ingo Rademacher.
