Jason Derulo Nominated For American Music Award

Red-hot pop sensation Jason Derulo has been nominated for an American Music Award for T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist. The nomination follows on the heels of Derulo’s 2010 Teen Choice Award for “Choice Music: Album, R&B.” The American Music Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, November 21st at  8 p.m. ET. For the fourth consecutive year, the winners will be determined by viewer voting on www.abc.com andwww.amavote.com.

 
Derulo will also perform two songs on CBS’s Dancing With The Stars on Tuesday, October 19th. So far this year, Derulo has appeared on American IdolThe ViewLopez TonightThe Ellen DeGeneres ShowThe Teen Choice AwardsAmerica’s Got Talent, and Live With Regis and Kelly.
 
Derulo is currently in the middle of his first-ever headlining tour of the U.S. in support of his self-titled debut album, produced by veteran songwriter and hitmaker J.R. Rotem (Sean Kingston, Rihanna, Leona Lewis). The album has spawned three massive hit singles, “Whatcha Say,” “In My Head,” and “Ridin’ Solo,” and established the Miami native as the breakout star of 2010. Derulo has sold over 11 million singles and 750,000 albums worldwide.
