Nick Cannon Diagnosed With Auto-Immune Disease

Nick Cannon is happily married to Mariah Carey and the proud
new father of twins, but that’s not why he’s considering himself so lucky.

The 31-year-old radio host has reportedly been diagnosed
with a Lupus-like Auto-immune disease resulting in a shocking health scare with
recent kidney failure and blood clots in his lungs.

Nick tells People magazine that he feels blessed to be
alive, and if the condition wasn’t discovered, he doesn’t know what would
happen.

It’s reported that he’ll be putting his health before his
busy schedule, focusing on getting at least six hours of sleep a night.

And although Nick says his health is in order now, he says
his condition is something he’ll be living with for life.

Nick Cannon Undergoes Another Procedure In Hospital

Mariah Carey‘s husband Nick Cannon returned to hospital on Wednesday (25Jan12) to undergo further treatment for acute kidney failure.

The America’s Got Talent host was taken ill during a family vacation in Aspen, Colorado in December (11) and he underwent surgery in early January (12).

He bounced back with an appearance at the recent Bet Honours in Washington, D.C. but visited doctors again this week for a routine procedure.

In a series of Twitter.com posts on Wednesday, he writes, “Back at the hospital, but no worries its (sic) only for the day. I will be back at work tomorrow!

“Not an emergency. This was a scheduled procedure. I just dislike hospitals.”
