For the last few weeks many speculations were made on who will be the ones that will finally dance this season and show-off their skills on the stage at the ‘Dancing with the Stars’. Finally all rumours, assumptions will be put to rest on August 30 at the reality show ‘Bachelor Pad’. On Monday night the official list of the stars who will grace this season’s dancing reality show will be announced.
Any reality show wants to increase its viewership and Dancing with the Stars is no different. So almost all major names of one time celebs or starlets have been mentioned in this season’s list, it ranged from Paris Hilton to Mel Gibson’s ex-wife Robyn Gibson.
Even Kirstie Alley was mentioned but she tweeted that she is “too chicken” to put on her dancing shoes and be on the display. ‘People’ has said that they have the list of this year’s contestants. The names included were David Hasselholf, Audrina Patridge, Bristol Palin, Brandy, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and Michael Bolton. Recently it went on to add the names like Jennifer Grey of ‘Dirty Dancing’ fame, Kurt Wagner and Troy Aikman and even Lindsay Lohan.
Troy made a slip-up last week in front of the paparazzi by saying he wishes to joint the team of ‘DWTS’ this season. Some wish lists were also played around with.
But it will be tonight all the wish list and the alleged rumoured names will be addressed for this season. So stay tuned at 8 pm on ABC to know the official list of the dancers of ‘DWTS’. It will go on air from September 20 at 8 pm on ABC
In a special Monday night event, the new cast of “Dancing with the Stars” will be revealed during an episode of “Bachelor Pad,” MONDAY, AUGUST 30 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.
Immediately following each cast member’s unveiling during primetime, ABC.com will post the updated list online.
The Fall 2010 season of “Dancing with the Stars” premieres MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2010 (8:00-10:00 p.m., ET).
Hosted by Tom Bergeron (“America’s Funniest Home Videos”) and Brooke Burke (“Dancing with the Stars” Season Seven Champion), the celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which will be judged by renowned Ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
Viewers may cast their votes for their favorite teams via phone on Monday night during and up to 30 minutes after the “Dancing with the Stars” performance shows. AT&T customers may also text message their votes by texting the word “VOTE” and entering the number that corresponds to the team they want to support (message and data rates may apply). Viewers may also vote online at www.abc.com starting from the opening of each episode on the East Coast.
