Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds’ Wedding Not Legally Binding

When Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds wed in South Carolina on September 9, it wasn’t legally binding. They obtained a marriage license four days later and officially exchanged vows on Friday.

The stars, who met on the set of The Green Lantern, held a low-key ceremony at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant – where romantic epic The Notebook was filmed – earlier this month.

Guests included the actress’ Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants co-stars Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera and Alexis Bledel, while Florence Welch performed at the reception, but it appears the nuptials were just for show – and perhaps to dupe tabloid editors into thinking the couple had wed in secret.

Paperwork filed at the local Charleston County Probate Court show Lively and Reynolds only applied to wed last Thursday and they officially list their marriage date as September 14, according to UsMagazine.com.

The newlyweds then headed to a tiny town in Virginia – with a population of just 150 – for a ‘mini-honeymoon’ before heading back to New York City, where Lively returned to work on Gossip Girl.

Blake Lively: "I Want 30 Kids"

No one can say that Blake Lively is not living up to her name… The girl is definitely lively. The newlywed actress tells Allure magazine that she’s so peaceful right now, she’s never been happier in her life, and it’s not just because she landed her new hubby, Ryan Reynolds.Actually, Blake says it’s a choice to wake up everyday and say ‘there’s no reason today can’t be the best day of your life.’ And she plans on sharing that positivity… Blake says she would have 30 children if she could… Ha, hear that Ryan? Better get busy.
But Blake attributes her happiness on her sense of adventure and lack of restrictions… Like even though she looks like this, she would go on a food trip and try every ice cream place in the South, even if her body… Went a little south too.

A History of Celebrity Sex Tapes and Photo Scandals

If Hollyscoop.com has learned one thing from celebrity sex tape/nude photo scandals, it’s that lighting is everything.

Back in my day, intimate home movies were a serious production shared between two people who were deeply in love. But in this day in age, people are tweeting their genitalia willy-nilly to anybody they meet on Craigslist. Oh, how the times have changed.

With the advent of technology, we’re using “smart” phones to show people our boobies. And, if it’s captured on a cell phone, hackers seem to have no problem finding A-list ass. Celebs might use them to propel their careers, and they say any publicity is good, but there’s no doubt, these celebs have suffered a great deal of embarrassment from their multimedia sex scandals.

Jennifer Lopez: J.Lo is currently battling her ex, Ojani Noa over the distribution and subsequent sale of her “intimate home movie”. Noa somehow found a legal loophole, giving the video to his current girlfriend to sell, but Lopez was able to block their move to distribute.

Blake Lively: Nude photos that were obviously Blake Lively were released, and down to the tattoos and freckle, there was no questioning who it was. Lively’s response? “It ain’t me.” I feel for her because it was a complete invasion of privacy, but come on, Blake. That couldn’t be any more you if you were naked on the set of Gossip Girl.

Vanessa Hudgens: She might be a Hollywood newcomer, but when it comes to photo scandals, Hudgens is an old pro. Aside from those photos and High School Musical, I doubt most people are familiar with her career. During her third and most recent round of leaked photos, Hudgens commented on how weird it was that it coincided with the release of her movie, Sucker Punch.

Paris Hilton: Hilton’s sex tape was released early on in her career—right as The Simple Life was beginning. Hilton still feels the backlash from the tape, having recently discussed it in an interview with Piers Morgan. Hilton’s mother, Kathy, cried as Paris said, “I’ll have to live with that for the rest of my life and explain it to my children. It’s something that changed my life forever.”

Kim Kardashian: Kim suffered the embarrassment over her sex tape publicly but bounced back from it nicely. Kim has become the face of an empire, landed true love, and has a big family around her at all times. We’re not sure she could have it any better. Oh right, there’s that glacier she has on her finger.

Rihanna: Back in 2009, Rihanna had a set of naked photos leaked all over the web. Rihanna was totally unapologetic about taking the photos, which makes us love her even more: “They were for my boyfriend at the time,” she said, adding, “if you don’t send your boyfriend naked pictures, then I feel bad for him.”

Jessica Alba: That’s right, America’s sweetheart fell victim to some leaked nude photos as well. Millions of men were waiting for this moment, and those men were quickly disappointed to find that the photos were mostly of Jessica’s naked, pregnant belly.

Ashley Greene: The Twilight star had her cell phone photos leaked in 2009. The photos were taken before Green’s rise to stardom. Aspiring actresses, you’re screwed
