Robert Pattinson’s Team Feels Actor Needs Wake Up Call

Robert Pattinson has been urged to quit his womanizing ways.

The ‘Twilight’ hunk’s managerial team have warned him to calm down his partying antics and focus on his career as they fear he could risk tarnishing his successful name if he doesn’t put a stop to his troublesome behavior.

A source told RadarOnline: “Rob’s team felt he needed a wake up call [and] that now is the time to get extremely serious about his career, even if that means quitting the womanizing and music making that have defined his life in Los Angeles so far.

“They really don’t want him throwing this opportunity down the toilet.”

The 27-year-old actor shot to fame in 2008 after landing the role of Edward Cullen in the romantic fantasy film, but his team are worried he’ll sign up to a movie at the end of this year that won’t be as successful, and could play havoc with his future career.

The source explained: “Rob has to pick his next movie before the end of the year, and frankly, everyone is worried he’s going to screw this up.

“There’s this very strong sense from his team that he needs to find a serious movie, like Brad [Pitt] did with ‘Seven’ that pulls him out of the cheesecake territory. He can’t screw this up!”

Matt Damon Doesn’t Envy Super Famous Brad Pitt

Matt Damon pities his pal Brad Pitt because the intense paparazzi attention he attracts prevents the Hollywood star from enjoying the small things in life – like walking his kids to school.

The pair has become firm friends since co-starring in the Ocean’s Eleven franchise, but while the Bourne Identity actor has managed to raise his children away from the spotlight, Pitt and his fiancee Angelina Jolie often have to contend with hordes of snappers every time they step out with their brood of six – and it’s the one side of fame Damon is grateful to do without.

He tells Esquire magazine, “If you can control the celebrity side of celebrity, then it (being super famous) is worth it.

“I look at Brad – and I have for years – and when I’m with him I see the intensity of that other side of it. And the paparazzi and the insane level of aggression they have and their willingness to break the law and invade his space – well, I wonder about that trade. I remember telling him that I walk my kids to school, and his face just fell. He was very kind, but he was like, ‘You b**tard’. Because he should be able to do that, too. And he can’t.”

And Damon insists finding love with former bartender Luciana Barroso helped him to remain low-key outside of work because she is not involved in the entertainment industry.

He says, “I got lucky, I fell in love with a civilian. Not an actress and not a famous actress at that. Because then the attention doesn’t double – it grows exponentially. Because then suddenly everybody wants to be in your bedroom.

“But I don’t really give them anything (to report on). If I’m not jumping up and down on a bar, or lighting something on fire, or cheating on my wife, there’s not really any story to tell. They can try to stake me out, but they’re always going to get the same story – middle-aged married guy with four kids. So as long as that narrative doesn’t change too much, there’s no appetite for it.”

Brad Pitt: I’m “Gutted” By James Gandolfini’s Death

Brad Pitt is one of the latest stars to weigh in on the tragic death of James Gandolfini. On Thursday, Pitt told reports he is “gutted by this loss.” Pitt and Gandolfini starred together in True Romance, The Mexican, and most recently Killing The Softly.

“I admire Jimmy as a ferocious actor, a gentle soul and a genuinely funny man,” Pitt said. “I am fortunate to have sat across the table from him and am gutted by this loss. I wish his family strength and some semblance of peace.”

Italian authorities announced Friday that Gandolfini, 51, died of a heart attack. The Sopranos star was in Rome for a short vacation with family before he attended the Taormina Film Festival in Sicily this weekend. He collapsed in his room at the Boscolo Exedra hotel Wednesday night and was found by his 13-year-old son Michael. Gandolfini had stopped breathing by the time he reached the hospital and attempts to resuscitate him failed.

Gandolfini’s spokesperson says the actor’s body will be flown back to the United States as soon as Italian authorities clear the move. “Once we have the clearance, we will put him on a flight to America. We expect that to be Wednesday, maybe Thursday, but we will keep you informed,” he said, adding that the funeral will hopefully happen “on Thursday, Friday, latest Saturday” in NYC.

Brad Pitt: Angelina Jolie’s Double Mastectomy Journey Was “Emotional And Beautifully Inspiring”

Although Angelina Jolie’s decision to have a preventative double mastectomy wasn’t easy, her partner Brad Pitt says the journey was “beautifully inspiring” for their entire family.

“I’m quite emotional about it, of course,” Pitt told USA Today on Tuesday.

“It’s been an emotional and beautifully inspiring few months,” he continued. “It’s such a wonderful relief to come through this and not have a spectre hanging over our heads. To know that that’s not going to be something that’s going to affect us. My most proudest thing is our family. This isn’t going to get that.”

Jolie, 37, made the decision to have the operation after discovering she is a carrier of BRCA1, a “faulty” gene that increases her risk of developing ovarian and breast cancer. Jolie’s mom, Marcheline Bertrand, died of ovarian cancer in January 2007.

“She could have stayed absolutely private about it and I don’t think anyone would have been none the wiser with such good results. But it was really important to her to share the story and that others would understand it doesn’t have to be a scary thing. In fact, it can be an empowering thing, and something that makes you stronger and us stronger,” Pitt said.

The couple even included their 6 children in Jolie’s recovery. “We set up our own little post-op recovery that became pretty fun,” added Pitt. “You make an adventure out of it.”

In her op-ed article for the New York Times, Jolie said the children were the driving force behind her decision. “My chances of developing breast cancer have dropped from 87 percent to under 5 percent. I can tell my children that they don’t need to fear they will lose me to breast cancer,” she wrote.

“On a personal note, I do not feel any less of a woman. I feel empowered that I made a strong choice that in no way diminishes my femininity,” the actress added.

Kirsten Dunst Says Kissing Brad Pitt Was ‘disgusting’

11-year-old Kirsten Dunst in a scene from Interview With The Vampire.

Actress Kirsten Dunst doesn’t have fond memories of her first kiss, insisting her smooch with Brad Pitt in Interview with the Vampire was “disgusting”.

The Bring It On star was just 11 years old when she played Claudia, a woman trapped in a young girl’s body, in the film, and locking lips with one of the world’s sexiest men was not an experience to remember.

While Dunst admits many of her schoolmates were jealous of her onscreen romance with Pitt, but she wasn’t that impressed.

She tells Bullet magazine, “I remember Brad would watch lots of Real World episodes. He had this long hair. He was just a hippie-ish cool dude. Everyone at the time was like, ‘You’re so lucky you kissed Brad Pitt,’ but I thought it was disgusting. I didn’t kiss anyone else until I was 16, I think.”

Angelina Jolie Cried During Brad Pitt’s Proposal

Angelina Jolie cried when Brad Pitt proposed to her in front of their six children, an insider tells Us Weekly magazine. Pitt popped the question with a custom designed ring estimated to be at least 16 carats. It took jeweler Robert Procop a year to complete the ring.

“Everyone hugged once she put [the ring] on. She went around and showed it to each of the kids,” the source tells Us.

Jolie, 36, debuted her ring on April 11 during a visit to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art with Pitt and son Pax, 8.

Meanwhile, Pitt’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston is said to be happy about his engagement. A source said the actress is “trying to just focus on her own happiness” with boyfriend Justin Theroux. “Jen is not a bitter person and she has always wanted Brad to be happy,” the source added.

Aniston and Pitt divorced in 2005 after 5 years of marriage. Pitt and Jolie confirmed their romance in January 2006 by announcing they were expecting their first child together.

Miss Piggy Challenges Clooney To Wrestling Match

Miss Piggy has challenged George Clooney to a wrestling match at the Orange British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) 2012.

The outspoken puppet star of new movie ‘The Muppets’ is the official red carpet host of the film awards, and is looking forward to the possibility of meeting ‘The Descendants’ star, who is dating former wrestler Stacey Kleiber.

Miss Piggy said: “I don’t wrestle girlfriends. However, if George wants to wrestle, bring it on! Best two out of three falls? Winner gets a dinner?”

She also promised that the ceremony could be a career highlight for a number of actors’ career, not because they could win awards, but because they will get to meet her.

She added: “Imagine the likes of George Clooney, Jean Dujardin, Michael Fassbender, Gary Oldman and Brad Pitt achieving the very pinnacle of their careers by getting a chance to speak with the one and only moi – Miss Piggy!

“Naturally, I will be asking questions that only moi would dare to ask.”

Miss Piggy – famed for her diva personality and glamorous outfits – also thinks there’s only one star who can compete with her in the glamour stakes, Lady Gaga, and has given an insight into her daily beauty regime.

She said: “I wake up at the crack of dawn, realise it’s far too early to get up, then go back to bed and sleep until mid-morning. Then first thing, I meet with my personal trainer. Not only is he a gorgeous hunk, but he does the workout for me,” she revealed.

“Hey, if I’m paying, then he’s sweating, not moi. After a relaxing massage and a healthy brunch, my diva-certified crew of stylists, hairdressers, make-up artists and sycophants arrives to prepare me for the day.”

The BAFTAs take place at London’s Royal Opera House this Sunday (12.02.12).

Brad Pitt Says He Wants to Marry Angelina Jolie

Brad Pitt admitted he wants to marry longterm girlfriend Angelina Jolie soon, despite once declaring the couple would not wed until gay marriage is legalized in the US.

“We’d actually like to and it seems to mean more and more to our kids,” the actor told The Hollywood Reporter. “We made this declaration some time ago that we weren’t going to do it till everyone can. But I don’t think we’ll be able to hold out.”

The 48-year-old movie star, who is up for Best Actor in this year’s Oscars, said his change of heart was partly down to the couple’s six children.

“It means so much to my kids, and they ask a lot,” he said. “And it means something to me, too, to make that kind of commitment.”

The actor did not disclose whether he had proposed to Jolie, 36, adding, “I’m not going to go any further.”
But he reiterated his support for gay marriage, saying, “… to be in love with someone and be raising a family with someone and want to make that commitment and not be able to is ludicrous, just ludicrous.”
Pitt also did not rule out having more kids with his partner of seven years.
“We haven’t closed the book on it,” he told the magazine. “There’s a really nice balance in the house right now, but if we see the need and get that lightning bolt that says, ‘We can help this person; we could do something here,’ then absolutely.” Read more>>

Brad Pitt Under Pressure To Marry

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie‘s children are “putting on the heat” for them to get married.

The Hollywood couple have been together since 2005 and raise six children – Maddox, 10, Pax, seven, Zahara, six, Shiloh, five, and three-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne – who Brad admits are keen for them to tie the knot.
In an interview with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres which is due to air tomorrow (22.09.11), he said: “The kids are putting on the heat. They really are.”
However, Brad, 47, and Angelina, 36, have always maintained they would not wed until gay marriage is made legal throughout the U.S.
He said: “We live in this great country that is about freedom. It is defined by our freedom and equality and yet we allow this discrimination to go on every day and that’s not what we’re about.”
When asked by Ellen if gay marriage was legal, they would marry immediately, Brad replied: “It seems.”
The ‘Moneyball’ star has also addressed comments he made about his ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, in which he is quoted saying he “pretended the marriage was something it wasn’t,” saying he feels his statement was taken out of context.
He said: “I don’t know what was pieced together or put together. It has no reference to the past. And I think it’s a shame that I can’t say something nice about Angie without Jen being dragged in. You know, she doesn’t deserve it.”
