Susan Boyle Shows Off Luxury Home

Singing sensation Susan Boyle has given fans a glimpse into her luxury house in Scotland for a new magazine spread.

The 50-year-old star, who shot to fame on U.K. reality TV show Britain’s Got Talent, purchased the $480,000 five-bedroom estate in West Lothian last year.

Boyle recently admitted she has never spent a whole night at her luxurious new property, as she doesn’t want to leave her childhood home, but the singer has now given readers of The Big Issue a look into what she refers to as “The Posh House”.

In the photoshoot, Boyle is pictured making a cup of tea in the kitchen, as well as leaning on her piano, which overlooks the grounds of her home.

Susan Boyle remains the queen of the U.S. album charts – her new album The Gift  has scored a second week at number one.

The singing Scot also lands a rare second-week sales increase from her number one debut a week ago (Nov 17).

The album rocketed to the top with 318,000 sales last week, but it has since shifted 335,000 copies.

Britain’s Got Talent contestant Boyle is in good company at the top of the new Billboard countdown – America’s Got Talent runner-up Jackie Evancho, 10, lands at two with O Holy Night.

The two festive-themed albums top a brand new top five with Rihanna’s Loud arriving at three, Josh Groban’s Illuminations at four and Born Free by Kid Rock at five.

Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, rapper Nelly and the Glee cast also debut new albums in the top 10.

In the U.S. pop charts, Rihanna rebounds to top the Billboard Hot 100 with Only Girl (In the World), becoming the first artist since Usher in 2004 to score four number ones in a calendar year.

And Gwyneth Paltrow should seriously consider a career as a pop star after claiming the singles chart’s highest debut at 11 with her Glee rendition of Cee-Lo Green’s Forget You.
