Actress Jane Fonda will cement her place in Hollywood history this weekend during a special hand and footprint ceremony at the fabled Chinese Theatre.
The Oscar winner will make her mark outside the famous Los Angeles landmark on Saturday, just steps away from where her actor father Henry Fonda left his imprint.
She tells the Associated Press, “I am very, very excited. I thought probably I would die and this would never happen. I’m just really thrilled that it actually is happening and not only that, but I get to put my hand and footprints right next to my father… I’m just so happy I’ll probably cry.”
After the ceremony, the 75 year old will present a special screening of On Golden Pond, the 1981 movie she shot with her dad, as part of Hollywood’s Classic Film Festival.
