Family Guy Hits The Big Screen in 10 Cities For One Night Only Event

Fox’s hit animated TV show, Family Guy, is taking the Griffin family on the road in celebration of its 10th anniversary for a 10 city, one night only, exclusive midnight viewing on September 15, 2011. The “Something, Something, Something Anniversary” Screening event is sure to delight Family Guy fans, from the hardcore to the casual, with an exclusive episode and never-before-seen footage, as well as trivia and special DVD and merchandise giveaways.

The screening events will feature an exclusive sneak peak at the first episode of the new season, “Lottery Fever,” in which the Griffin family wins the lottery and struggles to stay grounded. Additionally, fans can experience one of the most popular episodes in Family Guy history, “Road to the Multiverse,” as selected by fans on Facebook, as well as a not-yet-released 22-minute bonus feature from the upcoming Family Guy Volume 9 DVD slated to hit store shelves December 13 entitled “History of the World,” a telling of the creation of earth from a Family Guy perspective.

Additionally, fans who attend will have a chance to get their hands on new Family Guy merchandise courtesy of Fox Consumer Products, such as all-new interactive figures and playsets from Playmates Toys, games from USAopoly and a variety of Family Guy apparel, including an exclusive commemorative T-shirt.
