Troubled actress Amanda Bynes had another brush with the law on Sunday when she was accused of trespassing at an old people’s home in California.
The actress was spoken to by police officers after staff at the facility in Thousand Oaks dialled 911 when she turned up drunk outside the building.
According to editors at TMZ.com, staff called her a cab but eventually contacted cops when they saw the Hairspray star walking back towards the property.
It is not known if Bynes was merely advised by officers to leave the area or given a ticket for trespassing.
The incident is the latest in a string of woes for the actress – she is facing a charge of driving under the influence after allegedly crashing her car into a police vehicle last year, and a further accusation of driving on a suspended licence several months later. She is also accused of reckless endangerment, tampering with evidence and possessing marijuana after reportedly throwing a bong out of her apartment window during a police raid in May.
Embattled actress Amanda Bynes is trying to make amends with singer Miley Cyrus after branding the singer/actress “ugly” in an angry online rant.
The Party in the U.S.A. hitmaker became the latest target of Bynes’ Twitter attacks this week, joining the likes of Rihanna and Courtney Love, but Cyrus refused to engage in a war of words and simply brushed off the cruel tweet.
Commenting on her fellow former child star’s odd behavior, which includes wandering around New York with shirts covering her face, Cyrus said, “I think it’s all so sad and I don’t want to add any fuel to that fire. It’s so sad to me. I was rooting for her comeback until she started attacking me…”
However, the Hairspray star, who recently confessed to the first of several planned nose jobs, has since retracted her “ugly” taunt and now claims she is aspiring to have her features look more like Cyrus’.
Reaching out to the 20-year old on Twitter, Bynes writes, “Miley Cyrus thank you for rooting for me doll! You are one of the prettiest girls! I want my nose to look like yours after my surgeries!”

Bynes officially charged
Actress Amanda Bynes has been hit with two counts of driving with a suspended license following a pair of incidents last week.
The Hairspray star’s car was impounded shortly after the run-in with cops in Burbank, California and Bynes was cited for driving on a suspended license.
She now faces possible jail time for ignoring warnings to stop driving, according to TMZ.com.
Bynes is also currently facing a DUI charge and two hit-and-run charges following other car-related incidents earlier this year.
A Los Angeles judge told Bynes on Wednesday she faces jail time if she is pulled over by traffic cops again. She is due to stand trial for the DUI and hit-and-run charges on October 29th.
A Los Angeles judge overseeing Amanda Bynes’ hit-and-run case has given the actress a stern warning – stay out of trouble or face jail time.
The Hairspray star’s driver’s license was suspended on September 12 after a string of traffic troubles, including a DUI charge and two counts of hit-and-run, but she ignored the ban and was back on the road the following day, when she was involved in a minor fender bender.
The 26-year-old was caught behind the wheel again on Sunday when she was pulled over by Burbank, California police, who issued her a ticket for getting behind the wheel with a suspended license and impounded her black BMW 5-series.
Prosecutors appealed to Judge Elden Fox to impose $50,000 bail on Bynes following her additional legal issues, claiming she posed a risk to the public, but her lawyer headed to court on Wednesday to argue the request.
Judge Fox sided with Bynes’ representative and denied the motion for bail as the star’s most recent hit-and-run charge occurred on August 4, when she was still allowed to drive.
He stated: “Technically, Ms. Bynes is not in violation of order not to drive without a valid driver’s license.”
However, the judge made it clear that Bynes would face strict punishment if she was pulled over by traffic cops again and warned her lawyer she would face a much higher bail than the $50,000 proposed.
Bynes is due to stand trial for the DUI and hit-and-run charges on October 29.
Amanda Bynes’ legal troubles just got a little more serious. According to the Los Angeles Times, Bynes’ driver’s license has been suspended in the wake of two new hit-and-run charges and a previous drunk driving charge. The 26-year-old has not commented on her license suspension.
Bynes’s DUI arrest occurred on April 6 when she crashed into a police car in West Hollywood and refused a breathalyzer test. Four days later she allegedly fled the scene of an accident on an L.A. freeway. On August 4, Bynes reportedly rear-ended a car and left the scene.
The actress is due in court on September 27. She could face up to 1 year in jail for the hit-and-run charges.
Bynes is perhaps best known for starring on the Nickelodeon shows “All That” and “The Amanda Show.” Her film credits include “What a Girl Wants,” “She’s The Man,” “Hairspray” and “Easy A.”
Zac Efron has appealed to the producers at Glee for a guest role on the show because he’s a “huge fan” of Lea Michele.
Efron previously showed off his singing chops in both Hairspray and High School Musical, but after working withGlee actress Michele on the set of their upcoming film New Year’s Eve, he’s eager for another chance to star alongside the beauty on her hit TV series – and he’s hoping executives will cast him as a blood thirsty criminal.
He tells celebrity blog PerezHilton.com, “I’m a huge fan of Glee and a huge fan of Lea Michele’s work. It looks so fun. I would love to (be on it). Have they had a serial killer yet? It’d be fun to sing about.”
The popular high school musical show has already featured a number of guest stars during its three-year run – among them Gwyneth Paltrow, Neil Patrick Harris, John Stamos and Kristin Chenoweth. And Latin pop stars Ricky Martin and Gloria Estefan have both recently signed on for roles in the show next year.
