Paramore Move On To New Album

Rockers Paramore are moving on from the recent departure of the Farro brothers by starting work on a new album.

Josh Farro and his brother Zac, who founded the group with singer Hayley Williams and bassist Jeremy Davis in 2004, left the band earlier this month (Dec10), playing their last their show with the group in Orlando, Florida on 12 December (10).
Josh subsequently spoke out about the siblings’ decision to quit, accusing Williams of taking over and causing arguments. He also claimed working with the vocalist on the band’s last album, 2009’s Brand New Eyes, sparked their departure: “We fought her about how her lyrics misrepresented our band and what we stood for, but, in the end, she got her way.”
Williams has now confirmed the band is moving on from the line-up change by getting straight back to work on a new album – bassist Taylor York has been recording demos and the singer is all set to start writing lyrics.
And the frontwoman admits she is feeling positive about the band’s future.
In a post on her Twitter.com page, Williams writes, “Tonight (Taylor York) sent me the 1st official demo for me to write lyrics to. And I am so hopeful and motivated for the future!!”

Paramore Confirm Farro Brothers Left Band

On Saturday (December 18), Paramore announced that brothers Josh and Zac Farro were leaving the band, confirming rumors that had begun swirling earlier in the week.

In a blog post on the band’s official site Paramore wrote that the Farros had actually decided to leave the group “a couple of months ago,” and that, while fans might be shocked by the news, the remaining three members — frontwoman Hayley Williams, bassist Jeremy Davis and guitarist Taylor York — weren’t.

“None of us were really shocked. For the last year it hasn’t seemed as if they wanted to be around anymore,” the statement read in part. “We want Josh and Zac to do something that makes them happy and if that isn’t here with us, then we support them finding happiness elsewhere.”

The Farro brothers — guitarist Josh and drummer Zac — founded Paramore with Williams and Davis in 2004 (York was made an official member of the band around the release of 2009’s Brand New Eyes album), and though the group has lost two of its core members, they pledged to continue on … with a South American tour scheduled for February and, asYork told MTV News earlier this month, a new album.
