Blondie, Icona Pop, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, And Miley Cyrus To Perform In New York’s Times Square As The Country Counts Down To The New Year!

Blondie, Icona Pop, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and previously announced Miley Cyrus to ring in the New Year on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014” with live performances from New York’s Times Square, in front of an estimated 1 million people and tens of millions of television viewers nationwide. Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy (“The View”) will be live from Times Square as Ryan leads the traditional countdown to midnight.

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014,” is a bi-coastal celebration with a West Coast celebration hosted by Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. Coverage of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014,” will feature hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s celebrations from around the globe, beginning at 8:00 PM ET/PT on ABC.”

“New York’s Times Square is one of the most iconic places in the world to celebrate New Year’s Eve. This year we once again will have megastars in our line up including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke, Jenifer Hudson, Enrique Iglesias, Blondie, Miley Cyrus at midnight, and many more. We’re going to have the country’s biggest party,” said Ryan Seacrest.

“There’s nothing like New Year’s Eve in New York with the energy and excitement from all of the people that gather throughout Times Square,” added Jenny McCarthy. “I have such a great time with Ryan Seacrest, these amazing artists and fans across the country. Ryan Seacrest hosts the year’s biggest celebration at the crossroads of the world in Times Square with Jenny McCarthy (ABC’s “The View”), while Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas will return to host the west coast party on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014,” on TUESDAY, DECEMBER 31 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. West Coast performances feature Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Jennifer Hudson, Enrique Iglesias, and Robin Thicke. More artists to be announced at a later date, for both east and west coast parties.

“As the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve legacy continues, it is an honor to be a part of the largest celebration of the year,” said Fergie. “I am excited to share the stage with so many global stars.”

The bi-coastal celebration will include hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s celebrations from around the globe, and Ryan Seacrest will lead the traditional countdown to midnight from Times Square in New York City.

Red-hot pop sensation Jason Derulo has been nominated for an American Music Award for T-Mobile Breakthrough Artist. The nomination follows on the heels of Derulo’s 2010 Teen Choice Award for “Choice Music: Album, R&B.” The American Music Awards will air live on ABC on Sunday, November 21st at  8 p.m. ET. For the fourth consecutive year, the winners will be determined by viewer voting on www.abc.com andwww.amavote.com.

Jason Derulo To Embark On major U.S. Headlining Tour

Red-hot pop sensation Jason Derulo will embark on his first headlining tour of the U.S. beginning September 27th in Philadelphia, PA. The tour, which features special guest Auburn, will criss-cross the country before winding up October 29th in Fairfield, CT. Pre-sale tickets for AOL AIM Presents Jason Derulo powered by Samsung Mobile will be available August 5th through Ticketmaster and go on-sale to the general public on August 6th and 7th. This is Derulo’s first tour of the U.S. since his six-week stint on the road with Lady Gaga on her sold-out “Monster Ball” tour of North America in January 2010. Derulo recently wrapped several support dates with Black Eyed Peas in Canada and will appear at the Summer Sonic Festival in Japan this weekend, before headlining his sold-out UK tour in August. His long-awaited U.S. headlining tour will be a five-week run between his European and Australian dates.
