Singer songwriter Josiah Leming is gearing up for the September release of Come On Kid, his debut album for Warner Bros. Records, with whom he signed not long after appearing on Season 7 of American Idol in 2008. Leming’s brief, yet memorable time on the show (he was living out of the car while his mom was being treated for cancer), spurred fans to turn up in droves online to demand his reinstatement. They sent him messages of support, posted clips of themselves performing Leming’s original songs on YouTube, and bought downloads through his MySpace page-www.myspace.com/josiahleming
