Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour After Deep Rift Within The Band

Jonas Brothers fans who were looking forward to their tour kickoff this Friday will have to find alternative plans. People revealed today (October 9) that the band has cancelled the tour due to “a deep rift within the band.”

“There was a big disagreement over their music direction,” Jonas Brothers spokesperson Jesse Derris told People.

An argument between the three brothers — Nick, Joe and Kevin — allegedly erupted over the weekend and led the band to cancel their 19-date tour. The tour was to kickoff this Friday in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, and run through November. All who purchased tickets to the shows will be refunded.

The future of the band remains to be seen. Earlier this year, the Jonas Brothers released two new songs, the cheerleader anthem “Pom Poms” and party-infused jam “First Time,” off their upcoming album V. Though they’ve pursued solo careers in recent years, the brothers have not released a new full-length since 2009′s Lines, Vines and Trying Times.

Jonas Brothers Part With Record Label

The Jonas Brothers have parted with Hollywood Records after six successful years together.

The hugely popular band released three albums with the Disney-owned company and has sold 17 million albums worldwide.

The trio – Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas – insist the split was amicable, and admit they were emotional after cutting ties with the label.

Nick tells The Hollywood Reporter, “This was a decision that we made as a group. Naturally, as with any partnership, when you do part ways, there is emotion tied to it. We’ve been blessed to have a lot of success with Hollywood and with Disney, but speaking on behalf of my brothers and our team, we’re all looking forward to this next chapter. We’re ready for that next step as a group, and being able to take our work with us was so important.”

The band has bought back the rights to its master recordings and merchandising for an undisclosed sum.

A spokesperson for Hollywood Records hailed the “amazingly successful partnership” with the pop stars and wished them “all the best in their future endeavors.”

Kevin Jonas And Wife To Star On Reality Show

Kevin Jonas is set to add “reality star” to his impressive resume! The Jonas Brothers musician and his wife of 2 years, Danielle Deleasa, have landed an E! reality show that will document their married life and Jonas’ reunion with brothers Nick and Joe to record their next album.

“After two years of newlywed bliss, Kevin and Dani are finally ready to settle down in their New Jersey home and establish a happy suburban life,” E! said Monday in a statement. “However, with the Jonas Brothers heading back to the studio to record new music, finding the right mix of ‘normal’ and superstardom isn’t easy.”

Married to Jonas will be produced by Ryan Seacrest. “I vividly recall believing from the very first time that I met them that the Jonas Brothers would, without a doubt, become a worldwide cultural sensation,” Seacrest told EW.com. “When we learned that Dani married Kevin, our production team became curious about what life would be like for a young bride entering the excitement, and sometimes chaos, of a pop star’s life. Looking through the lens of young love, the show will examine the ups and downs of Dani and Kevin’s marriage, against the backdrop of their contrasting family cultures, traditions and individual careers.”

The series is scheduled to premiere on August 19 at 10 p.m. (EST). Jonas, 24, and Deleasa, 23, tied the knot in December 2009 after two years of dating.

Jonas Brothers Reunite For Reality Show

TV bosses are turning pop star Kevin Jonas‘ upcoming reality show about married life into a real family affair. They’ve roped in his siblings Nick and Joe to star on the program too.

The oldest of the Jonas brothers began filming footage for a new E! network show in September 2011, documenting his day-to-day activities with his new wife Danielle Deleasa.

But the program will now also feature Nick’s turn in hit Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and cameras will follow Joe as he works on his solo career.

American Idol host Ryan Seacrest is producing the as-yet-untitled series, which was first reported by the New York Post.

Jonas and Deleasa wed in December 2009.

Racy Photos of Demi Lovato Hit The Internet

In photos of Demi Lovato that hit the Net, the Disney star is seen pulling her shirt down to reveal her cleavage, surrounded by a group of her friends, and also posing in just a bra.

While the photos were published on the blog Anything Disney on Wednesday, other websites just picked them up Friday (December 17). Anything Disney posted an additional photo of Lovato, reportedly from the same night, where she is wearing a belly-baring top, pulling down her shirt and licking a female’s face.

One of the women in the photos, donning orange/red hair and kissing Lovato’s shoulder, appears to be Alex Welch, the dancer Lovato allegedly punched before the singer/actress entered a treatment facility last month.

Recently, Welch opened up about her incident with the teen star, noting that she was surprised when Lovato allegedly struck her. “I felt, honestly, I didn’t say anything and didn’t think twice about it,” Welch recalled. “We were on the plane with the Jonases having this awesome time, and I didn’t get a call or text from Demi or a ‘Hey, you got a problem with me,’ nothing. And she walks up and punches me and, literally, walked away and got in her seat. No one should walk up and do that and brush it over, it’s not right.”

Kevin Jonas recently told MTV’s “The Seven” that he hasn’t spoken with his former tourmate recently. “I really haven’t had any contact [with her],” Kevin said. “Of course, we wish her well in her recovery.”
