Musicians Pay Tribute To Amy Winehouse

A host of musicians and celebrities have taken to Twitter to pay tribute to  Amy Winehouse, who died (July 23) after suffering a suspected drugs overdose at her London flat.

Lily Allen said that the singer’s death was “beyond say”, adding: “She was such a lost soul, may she rest in peace.

Boy George commented that he could not “contain my sadness and anger” and said it was a “deeply sad day for many reasons”.

Kelly Osbourne described Winehouse as one of her best friends, adding: “I cant even breath right my now im crying so hard.”

Paramore singer Hayley Williams was also in shock but argued Winehouse would “never truly be gone” due to “that voice”.

Other musicians and celebrities who offered their condolences included The Who, P Diddy, Kate Moss, Megadeth man Dave Mustaine and Louis Walsh.
