(MTV)—Lady Gaga brought her ARTPOP to Berlin on Thursday (October 24), when she gathered her Little Monsters at the city’s Berghain Club to give them an acoustic performance of “Gypsy” and answer their most pressing questions.
And, in true Gaga fashion, it was all quite over-the-top. Gaga rocked a black bra, wore a mustache on her face and her body was covered in glitter. And even though she was speaking in a German-sounding accent, we were still able to get some album details from her extensive Q&A with fans.
“I feel like in a way ARTPOP — as an idea — it was an answer to every question about my music up until this point,” she said, later adding, “ARTPOP, of course, like with any album you can choose to listen any songs you want to listen to, but if you truly want to experience what I composed for you, you listen from start to finish. It’s a journey. It was designed to be played as a piece.”
Lady Gaga suffered a fright over the Thanksgiving holiday when 35 of her fans broke into her garage.
The Poker Face hitmaker celebrated the holiday with her family in Peru, where she is due to play on her Born This Way Ball tour on Friday.
However, Gaga was given a scare when a group of her loyal fans, who she calls Little Monsters, gained entry to her garage.
Detailing the bizarre events in a series of posts on her Twitter page, the singer writes, “Monster fact when Gaga is asleep try to break into the garage, sing loud as possible, + ring the doorbell repeatedly… happening now… bad kids.
“Thanksgiving story: woke up for leftovers in kitchen (naked) – stumbled on security camera revealing 35 monsters in my garage… why… I love u (sic).”
Lady Gaga is ready to hit the road again in support of her latest album, “Born This Way.”
The pop superstar has revealed her plans via a series of messages on her Twitter page; including the official tour poster, the new stage design and a promise to fans that they’ll get the opportunity to go backstage and meet her after each show.
“The Born This Way Ball” will kick off in 2012 and run through 2013 and feature a medieval castle stage set piece with a catwalk surrounding the front part of the audience; much like U2’s ‘Ellipse’ on their “Vertigo” tour; called the ‘Monster Pit’. Fans who arrive early, wait all night and are “dressed to ‘Ball'” will get entry to the Pit. Gaga’s team, aka the ‘Haus of Gaga’, will choose fans from the area to go back stage and meet her after the show.
The best part? Unlike Madonna expecting fans to save their money all year and pay through the nose for tickets to her upcoming tour, Gaga explains that the Monster Pit is a General Admission area and die-hard fans won’t have to break the bank to get in.
“Every night Haus of Gaga will choose fans from The Monster Pit to come back stage + meet me! These tickets are NOT more expensive,” she Tweeted.
After Gaga’s posts fans questioned her on what, exactly, “dressed to ‘Ball'” means, to which she replied, “Reading your questions 🙂 No dress code requirement. “Born This Way” means anything goes.”
“The Born This Way Ball will perform 110 shows around the world. The opening dates are out today, with more announcements to ensue,” she Tweeted earlier Wednesday.
Lady Gaga may be Mother Monster to more than 10 million followers on Twitter, but the pop superstar is apparently thinking about bringing some Little Monsters home.
The 25-year-old reportedly told the UK’s Daily Star that she plans to adopt an international family of children, and by the time her 30th birthday rolls around she wants lots of babies.
Apparently she says kids would be the perfect accessory to her world.
Well if there’s one thing the Born This Way singer seems to know, it’s how to put effort and care into her accessories.
But we just hope Gaga never plans on wearing any of her children!
