Glee’s Matthew Morrison Speaks About Being in Boy band

Glee star Matthew Morrison regrets his boy band past, calling his short stint in pop group LMNT “one of the biggest mistakes” he ever made.

The singer/actor, who plays high school teacher Will Schuester on Glee, was convinced he had landed his big break after joining the band in 2001.

However, Morrison admits he felt miserable singing cheesy tracks and he left the line-up before LMNT had even released their debut album.

He tells fashion website MrPorter.com, “It’s one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made in my life. It was at the height of ‘NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys, so I really thought I was going to make a lot of money being in a boy band. Singing and dancing to stupid, ridiculous songs didn’t feed my soul.”

Morrison Morrison Loves to Prank Glee Castmates

Matthew Morrison has outed himself as the biggest joker on the Glee set after setting up Cory Monteith and Lea Michele in a double prank.

The actor enjoys playing tricks on the stars of the TVmusical, and he’s especially proud of a stunt involving Monteith’s beloved car.
He tells Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine, “I’m usually the one pranking people. I got Cory good. He had this really amazing sports car and I found this sticker that makes it look like it’s been badly scratched. Lea was parked beside him so we put a little bit of tape on her bumper (too) to make it look like she was the one who did the damage.
“Lea was so p**sed off she threw her sandwich at me! But she soon started laughing about it.”

Glee Star Matthew Morrison Leaves Rat-Infested home

Glee star Matthew Morrison has been forced to move into a hotel after his home became infested with rats.

The actor recently went away for a few days and when he returned to his house, he found the place had been overrun by rodents.

Morrison reveals the property was covered in faeces, with rats in every room – and he became determined to catch the intruders.
He tells The Billy Bush Show, “I came home and World War III broke out in my house. There was rat poop all over my house when I got home. I go upstairs (and) there was a huge rat in my bed. And like, poop and faeces all over my bed…
“I got home at like, 10pm on Sunday night and I had a 6am call on Glee on Monday, and it was just the worst night ever… I tried to catch the rat and he darted away. And I kind of cornered him in this thing… I thought he was dead on my bed.
“So… I put a bunch of plastic bags on my hand – I went to grab him and he just darted off… He was on the windowsill, kind of just eyeing me. We were playing cat and mouse – or Matt and rat, I guess.
“I got him, ran downstairs in my underwear, and threw him in this far away trash can. Came back, tried to sleep and I just couldn’t. A half hour later, I hear something else… On my nightstand! I get up… I run over and turn the light on, and this big guy is on my nightstand and he jumps on my bed. They just love my bed!
“And he’s looking at me like, ‘What are you doing on my bed?’ He’s looking at me like I’m the a**hole.”
Morrison eventually gave up and checked into a hotel – and he’s now considering selling the house because he is so wary about going back.
He adds, “This is my house that I own. Now I want to put it back on the market!”

Matthew Morrison Felt Like A "Bad Singer" Next To Elton John

Glee star Matthew Morrison feared he was destroying Sir Elton John‘s classics when they teamed up to record new versions of the superstar’s songs – because he was “so used” to hearing the originals.
The singer/actor landed the special collaboration for his upcoming solo album, Bringing It to the Masses, and recently hit the studio with John to complete the tracks.
But Morrison admits he was star-struck the whole time they were working – and he was convinced his vocals were not up to par.
He tells People.com, “(It was) an out-of-body experience. I didn’t really believe it was actually happening.
“I actually felt like I was a bad singer because we were singing a couple of his songs, and you’re so used to hearing that voice on these songs, and I’m like, ‘I don’t sound good on these songs.'” Morrison claims the duet was meant to be a secret – but John is so proud of the work, which he’s described as “really fantastic”, he’s been “telling everyone”.
The TV star says, “It was supposed to be a secret that he was going to be on my album, but he’s kind of telling everyone. So I guess we can talk about it. He’s just the most loving man, and we had the best time. He was so giving and so supportive. We just had a ball.”
