Breaking Bad Superfan Busted On Drug Charges

A Florida man who won a contest to watch the finale of hit drama Breaking Bad with the cast was arrested on New Year’s Eve (31Dec13) and charged with masterminding a drug distribution operation.

Police in Fort Myers claim Ryan Lee Carroll shipped synthetic marijuana across the U.S. from his home in the city.

Authorities seized more than $1 million of the illegal substance and a souvenir Hazmat suit signed by Breaking Bad stars during a raid on his headquarters.

The drama series, which ended last year (Sep13), followed the fortunes of Bryan Cranston’s cancer-stricken former high school teacher who becomes a drug kingpin.
