Paul Mccartney’s Wife Resigns From Nyc Transportation Board

Paul Mccartney‘s new bride Nancy Shevell has officially resigned from her post at New York City’s public transportation board.

Shevell, who wed the Beatles singer in London last October (11), stepped down from her job at the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority on Wednesday (Jan 25) after 11 years of service.

The Big Apple native announced her resignation at the organisation’s monthly meeting, telling her fellow colleagues, “(Good luck on the) massive challenges ahead of you… I am so very emotional and sad right now.”

Shevell was appointed to the position by then-Governor George Pataki in 2001. Her term officially expired last year (11).
