U.S. actress Pamela Anderson has remarried her ex-husband, film producer Rick Salomon, the former “Baywatch” star confirmed.
The couple, who were previously married in 2007, but filed for divorce just two months later, broke the news at Sean Penn’s Help Haiti Gala in Los Angeles Saturday, E! News reported.
“We’re very happy,” Anderson said. “Our families are very happy and that’s all that matters.”
Anderson, 46, and Salomon, 45, were spotted at a topless beach in France last year and when asked about it by talk show host Ellen DeGeneres in October, Anderson said: “I say we’re best friends … with benefits,” adding that she didn’t “want to meet anyone else.”
Mick Jagger’s famous friends and fans took to the Internet on Friday, July 26 to send messages of congratulations as the Rolling Stones star turned 70.
The music legend’s milestone created a buzz on Twitter.com and the singer was flooded with birthday greetings from devotees from around the world.
Jagger’s partner L’Wren Scott gave fans a glimpse into the star’s private birthday celebrations by posting a picture of a big pile of gift-wrapped presents on her Instagram.com page with the message, “Happy Birthday Mick Jagger… The most kind and adoring man… Love to you.”
The singer’s Rolling Stones bandmate Ronnie Wood also sent a public birthday message to his friend – in a post on Twitter.com, he wrote, “Hey – Happy birthday Mick Jagger! Enjoy & have fun,” while Jagger’s ex-wife Bianca added, “Happy birthday Mick Jagger – May the Good Lord shine a light on you warm like the evening sun, xx Bianca.”
One Direction star Harry Styles also sent a birthday message to the veteran musician, writing, “Happy birthday Mick Jagger legend,” and former U.S. President Bill Clinton also took time to honour the star: “Everyone wants the moves like Jagger… but Mick Jagger, you’re one of a kind. For one Dancing with the Stars all-star, the first dance of the season also turned out to be their last. On Tuesday night’s results show, judge’s scores combined with viewer votes determined that either Pamela Anderson or Drew Lachey would be the first star booted from the all-star season. Pamela Anderson and her partner Tristan MacManus were the unlucky couple.
Anderson was not surprised at her elimination. After delivering a lackluster cha-cha that only earned 17 points and put her at the very bottom of the scoreboard Monday night, Anderson admitted that she “screwed up so many thing” in the routine.
“I was ready for it for sure. We got the lowest score,” Anderson said after her elimination. “We’re going to dance together again. It doesn’t end here.”
MacManus later said Anderson was upset with herself for messing up their first dance. “She apologized. She felt like she let me down. My assurances were that she didn’t. Obviously she was disappointed to go early, which I was myself. But someone has to leave so others can move on,” he explained.
ABC has announced the cast of Dancing with the Stars’ first ever all-stars edition. The season will also mark another first for the show – fans will vote for the thirteenth contestant to join the cast.
The celebrities to fill the first 12 spots are: Emmett Smith, Pamela Anderson, Kelly Monaco, Gilles Marini, Shawn Johnson, Melissa Rycroft, Helio Castroneves, Drew Lachey, Bristol Palin, Apolo Ohno, Joey Fatone and Kirstie Allie.
Fans will vote for Carson Kressley, Kyle Massey or Sabrina Bryan to fill the final spot. The fan’s choice will be revealed on Good Morning America on August 27.
“We’ve got what we think is a great cast of popular favorites,” ABC president Paul Lee said Friday at the Television Critics Association press tour.
The All-Star season will kick off on September 24 on ABC.
The Baywatch beauty became convinced she was going insane when she noticed bread missing from her kitchen and items of clothing vanished from her closet.
But after several days she discovered a female intruder hiding in her home – and the woman shocked the actress by slashing her wrists when police arrived to arrest her.
Anderson tells Britain’s OK! magazine, “One (fan) snuck into my house, sliced their wrists and… ate all my bread. It’s terrible but I’m serious! When the police took her, she was even wearing one of my Baywatch bathing suits. It was very scary, actually.
“I was in my house with my children, alone, and this woman had gotten in and was there for a few days!… I kept noticing my bread going missing and that my jean jacket disappeared. But I was like: ‘I’m going crazy because I have two babies, I’m forgetting everything.’
“But this woman had been staying in the guest room for days. When the police came, she slit her wrists!… She didn’t die. She just got deported.”
David Hasselhoff is determined to record a duet with his former Baywatch co-starPamela Anderson – even though the actress has rejected the idea because she “can’t sing”.
The pair starred in the popular 1990s beach show together, and Hasselhoff is keen to reunite with his pal to release a single.
Anderson has so far refused the actor’s offer – but he’s not giving up on his musical project.
He tells Britain’s Star magazine, “I asked Pamela to sing with me – I told her that if we did a single together it would be huge…
“But she won’t do it because she says she can’t sing! And I just say, ‘Come on, just rap, all you got to do is just talk’. I haven’t given up on her. The Hoff and Pamela would be hysterical.”
