Lindsay Lohan is reportedly fighting for an early release from jail. RadarOnline.com reports Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and the deputy district attorney entered Judge Elden Fox’s chambers just after 1:30 p.m. Holley is said to be demanding that bail be set so the actress can be released from jail.
“Lindsay’s lawyer is asking that bail be set. Shawn Chapman Holley contends that Judge Fox must grant Lohan bail pending the probation violation hearing on October 22nd,” an insider tells Radar.
Earlier today Judge Fox denied Lohan bail and ordered that she be held in jail until a hearing on October 22. The October hearing will determine whether the Machete star violated probation in her DUI case by failing a random drug test last week.
Reps for Lohan have not commented.
