Blondie, Icona Pop, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, And Miley Cyrus To Perform In New York’s Times Square As The Country Counts Down To The New Year!

Blondie, Icona Pop, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis and previously announced Miley Cyrus to ring in the New Year on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014” with live performances from New York’s Times Square, in front of an estimated 1 million people and tens of millions of television viewers nationwide. Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy (“The View”) will be live from Times Square as Ryan leads the traditional countdown to midnight.

“Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014,” is a bi-coastal celebration with a West Coast celebration hosted by Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas. Coverage of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2014,” will feature hours of special performances and reports on New Year’s celebrations from around the globe, beginning at 8:00 PM ET/PT on ABC.”

“New York’s Times Square is one of the most iconic places in the world to celebrate New Year’s Eve. This year we once again will have megastars in our line up including Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Robin Thicke, Jenifer Hudson, Enrique Iglesias, Blondie, Miley Cyrus at midnight, and many more. We’re going to have the country’s biggest party,” said Ryan Seacrest.

“There’s nothing like New Year’s Eve in New York with the energy and excitement from all of the people that gather throughout Times Square,” added Jenny McCarthy. “I have such a great time with Ryan Seacrest, these amazing artists and fans across the country. Previously announced West Coast performers include Capital Cities, Daughtry, Jason Derulo, Fall Out Boy, Florida Georgia Line, Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson, Enrique Iglesias, Robin Thicke and The Fray.

Bruno Mars Named the 2013 Billboard Artist of the Year

This morning, Billboard released its annual Year in Music issue which named Bruno Mars the 2013 Billboard Artist of the Year. The issue also breaks down the top artists in each genre based on performance on the Billboard charts from Dec. 1, 2012 to Nov. 30, 2013. Justin Timberlake and Rihanna were named the Top R&B Male and Female Artists of 2013, while Macklemore & Ryan Lewis is the Top R&B/Hip Hop Group of the year.

Drake, Macklemore and Robin Thicke Set To Play Grammy Nominations Show
