Taylor Swift has made a $10,000 donation to a Massachusetts school for deaf children after it was targeted in an internet prank.
The singer launched a Facebook competition to perform a concert at whichever U.S. school got the highest number of votes, but the contest was highjacked.
The Horace Mann School for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Allston pulled in thousands of votes as pranksters organized a campaign to encourage people to vote for the school.
Although contest bosses decided to remove the school from the running, Taylor Swift showed her generous side by handing over a personal donation.
Every student were also given a ticket for her next local concert as well as others following Taylor’s lead and donating money.
