Elvis Presley’s Tomb Up For Auction

Fans of Elvis Presley can now follow the music legend into the grave when his original tomb goes on sale.

The A Little Less Conversation hitmaker was laid to rest inside a large underground chamber at the Forrest Hill Cemetery in Memphis, Tennessee following his death in August, 1977, but The King of Rock’s remains were relocated two months later and reburied at his iconic Graceland home alongside his mother Gladys.

Now his original crypt is set to go under the hammer at an upcoming sale, according to

Celebrity auctioneer Darren Julien will oversee the macabre lot and the winner will receive the tomb, opening and closing of the vault for burial, a memorial inscription and use of the chapel.

Bidding will commence on June 23rd as part of the Music Icons auction, which will see the sale of more than 600 items from the biggest stars in the industry, including Michael Jackson and Frank Sinatra.
