Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera Perform on The Voice Finale

On Thursday Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera Perform on The Voice Finale was a top story. Here is the recap: ( On Wednesday night (Dec. 17), Lady Gaga ditched R. Kelly for a much shorter, blonder duet partner in Christina Aguilera. Wearing matching lame outfits, the two women teamed up for a special performance of Gaga’s ARTPOP track, “Do What U Want” on the finale of The Voice.

Mother Monster started the song on her own before Aguilera joined in at the 1:35 minute mark. The two then faced off in the middle of the stage before grabbing one another hands, taking a seat on the chaise lounge and sharing a bit of the bubbly.

Since 2010, when Aguilera took some jabs at Gaga in an interview with Out Magazine, saying she was “nice to look at,” it’s been rumored that the two were at odds. But from the looks of their handholding performance, things are copacetic between the two.

In an interview with E!, Gaga said she actually asked if she could perform with the pop diva. “I was really excited because The Voice called and wanted me to perform on the finale and I obviously can’t refuse,” Gaga explained. “It’s such an amazing show and I said, ‘I’ll do it, but I want to know if Christina will do it with me.'”

Cher On Her Long Awaited Return To The Stage: I’m a Chicken!"

Considering she’s one of the foremost fashion and music icons in the world, we doubt very much that Cher is, as she describes herself, “a chicken”. But, talking to The Hollywood Reporter, the 67-year-old admitted how scared she was at taking to the stage for the first time in over a decade.

The legendary singer was performing at The Voice finale, showing off a new track from her upcoming album. “It’s the first time I’ve been onstage or singing live — the last time I think was with Tina [Turner] and I think that was about five or seven years ago,” she explains. “And before that — I can’t even remember the last time I was on TV before that.” Needless to say, she belted out Woman’s World – off her upcoming album, Closer to the Truth – with the kind of audacity and aplomb that launched her to stardom, but that’s not to say there weren’t any butterflies. “It’s very exciting and it makes you feel elated, but it’s also kind of scary. And I’m a big chicken  anyway,” she added.

Closer to the Truth, which will be hitting stores on September 24, is Cher’s first album since 2002’s Living Proof. “I actually did a couple of different things in this album,” she says. “I ventured into places I haven’t gone and I really enjoyed that. I kind of took some chances in this album and then when they turned out to be good, I was really happy.”

Blake Shelton’s Contestant Danielle Bradbery Wins The Voice

On Tuesday’s season finale of The Voice, 16-year-old Texas native Danielle Bradbery beat Michelle Chamuel and the Swon Brothers for the winning title. Bradbery was so emotional after her win that she struggled to finish her final performance on The Voice stage.

“I don’t even know right now. I’m so thankful. I’m sorry … I’m speechless,” she said.

Earlier in the night, Bradbery praised her coach Blake Shelton for his guidance throughout the season. “You’re an amazing coach and you’re an amazing person,” she said. “You taught me so much and I’m so thankful to have you in my life and I love you so much.”

This is Shelton’s third Voice win – his contestants Jermaine Paul and Cassadee Pope won season 2 and season 3 respectively.

“I think it’s the most important win we have had so far on The Voice because Danielle is the first winner of The Voice that had no professional experience in the past,” he told People magazine on Tuesday. “Her biggest performances ever were for her family at Thanksgiving.”

“People are just wrapped around her finger for a reason,” Shelton added. “God sprinkled just a little bit more on Danielle Bradbery than he did the rest of us and I’m just glad to call her a friend.”
