Michael Jackson‘s siblings Tito and Rebbie are to reveal untold stories about his personal life in a new stage show.
The pair will be joined by the Thriller hitmaker’s pal David Gest and childhood friend, singer Deniece Williams, to entertain audiences with stories of Jackson’s life.
The show, titled A Jackson Named Michael, will also feature five hours of unseen film footage from Gest’s personal archives, a question-and-answer session, and a 30-minute onscreen interview with the late legend’s mother, Katherine.
Gest says, “The majority of the show will be reminiscences and stories about Michael that the public has never heard. I will also unveil a treasure trove of film clips that were not included in my upcoming film. I have more than five hours of unseen footage and 30 minutes of rare Katherine Jackson footage of her reminiscing about Michael growing up in Gary as well as stories about all her kids.”
The show is due to tour the U.K., Europe and Australia next year. Gest’s new film, Michael Jackson: The Life of an Icon, tells the singer’s life story and includes interviews with more than 50 of his close friends and family. It will be released next month.
