Justin Bieber has further proved pre-Christmas retirement talk was nothing more than a joke by returning to the studio.
The pop superstar left fans concerned by tweeting his thoughts about retirement last month. He quickly revealed he was just joking and now it seems he spent the holidays recording new music in Toronto, Canada.
Producer Douglas Romanow tweeted a photo of himself and Bieber working in Romanow’s Noble Street Studios on New Year’s Day, adding “Justin Bieber’s retirement rumors are greatly exaggerated. I’ve been recording him in Toronto.”
On Christmas Eve, it didn’t appear Bieber was joking when he wrote, “My beloved beliebers (fans) I’m officially retiring,” but he later added, “IM HERE FOREVER.”
The tweets ended a troubled year for the teenage star, who hit the headlines for all the wrong reasons in 2013 following a series of odd stunts, including illegal graffiti daubing and urinating in a restaurant mop bucket.
