Robert Pattinson is one of Hollywood’s reigning hunks, but the self-deprecating actor doesn’t think much of his physique and could never be accused of working out obsessively like so many other actors. The good news is, he’s thinking about hitting the gym.
Rob, 27, had several shirtless scenes in the “Twilight” film saga, although he candidly admits that his prominent abs were spray-painted on for some of those.
And, he says he probably pays a price for not being in the best shape.
“I think I don’t get some jobs because I don’t go to the gym,” he tells the Arabian edition of Harper’s Bazaar in a new interview. “I am literally the only actor in LA who doesn’t have a six-pack,” he says. “Although I am going to have to change that.”
His post-roles “Twilight,” roles are increasingly involving intimate scenes, and that’s providing the motivation to hit the gym.
“In my next film I have like three intimate scenes so I am literally thinking of those to get in shape,” he explains. But it won’t change his aversion to exercising.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are taking steps to separate their lives following their breakup. On Sunday, Pattinson was spotted leaving Stewart’s Los Feliz home with his two dogs and a truck load of belongings. Wearing sunglasses and a red baseball hat, Pattinson appeared somber as he pulled away from the home.
Neither Pattinson, 27, nor Stewart, 23, has commented on their split. An insider said the pair had been fighting over Stewart’s moodiness and her 2012 cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders. “All this stuff came up about the cheating, about how selfish she always is, about how moody she always is,” an insider said.
The Twilight stars separated briefly last summer after Us Weekly magazine published pictures of Stewart kissing Sanders, 41, during a secret rendezvous in L.A. Stewart called the incident a “momentary indiscretion.” “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” she said in a statement at the time.
It’s over again for Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Sources say constant fighting over Stewart’s moodiness led to the breakup. Her cheating scandal with director Rupert Sanders last July was also a factor.
“All this stuff came up about the cheating, about how selfish she always is, about how moody she always is,” an insider reveals.
Despite the arguing, a source says the Twilight stars “could get back together.”
Neither Pattinson, 27, nor Stewart, 23, has commented.
The pair briefly split last summer after Us Weekly magazine published pictures of Stewart kissing Sanders, 41, during a secret rendezvous in L.A. Stewart later issued a public apology to Pattinson. “I’m deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I’ve caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry,” she said in a statement.
They reunited a few months later.
Stewart appeared last in 2012’s On the Road. Pattinson can be seen next alongside Guy Pearce and Scoot McNairy.
Whilst her on/off boyfriend Robert Pattinson is working in Australia, Kristen Stewart has been hanging out with her Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner.
The 22-year-old was snapped heading out in Hollywood on Wednesday night with the hunky star.
Spotted heading into the Troubadour club, the actress was sporting a casual look in jeans and t-shirt.
Meanwhile, Taylor matched Kristen’s style as he donned a backwards cap.
The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 dominated the 2013 Golden Raspberry Awards, which names and shames the year’s worst films.
The final installment in the vampire franchise was voted Worst Picture at the 11th annual Razzie Awards on the eve of the Oscars, beating Battleship, The Oogieloves in the Big Balloon Adventure, That’s My Boy and A Thousand Words.
Twilight leading lady Kristen Stewart landed Worst Actress, while co-star Taylor Lautner was branded the Worst Supporting Actor for his turn as werewolf Jacob Black.
Stewart did not attend the spoof prizegiving, so organizers brought a cardboard cut-out of the actress to a press conference to “accept” her trophy.
Razzies founder John Wilson joked, “I believe that rather than 40 million girls who bought tickets (to see Twilight), it was four million girls who bought 10 tickets each. That makes me feel better about the American public.”
The blockbuster also picked up Worst Director (Bill Condon), Worst Screen Couple (Lautner and Mackenzie Foy), Worst Onscreen Ensemble, and Worst Remake, Rip-Off or Sequel.
That’s My Boy scooped the Worst Actor dishonor for Adam Sandler as well as Worst Screenplay.

“Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence says she has been in contact with “Twilight” star Kristen Stewart about a rumored feud between the casts of the two films. While speaking with Access Hollywood, Lawrence explains that she sent Stewart an email to clear the air about the rumor.
“I wrote her an email because there was this huge, like, article about a Twilight and Hunger Games feud. And we’ve never met before and never spoken. There were all these, like, fake quotes from me that were actually hilarious,” Lawrence told the show.
Lawrence adds that Stewart was quick to respond and was very understanding:
“I just shot her an email, and was like, ‘Hey, can’t wait to see more as this feud unfolds! [Kristen] wrote me back, and she was like, ‘It’s fine. Welcome to [our] world where everything you say gets turned into [something it’s not],’ So, she understood.”
