Jonas Brothers Cancel Tour After Deep Rift Within The Band

Jonas Brothers fans who were looking forward to their tour kickoff this Friday will have to find alternative plans. People revealed today (October 9) that the band has cancelled the tour due to “a deep rift within the band.”

“There was a big disagreement over their music direction,” Jonas Brothers spokesperson Jesse Derris told People.

An argument between the three brothers — Nick, Joe and Kevin — allegedly erupted over the weekend and led the band to cancel their 19-date tour. The tour was to kickoff this Friday in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, and run through November. All who purchased tickets to the shows will be refunded.

The future of the band remains to be seen. Earlier this year, the Jonas Brothers released two new songs, the cheerleader anthem “Pom Poms” and party-infused jam “First Time,” off their upcoming album V. Though they’ve pursued solo careers in recent years, the brothers have not released a new full-length since 2009′s Lines, Vines and Trying Times.
