Eminem, Oprah Winfrey, Tom Hanks Offer to Mentor Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun has been inundated with offers from the likes of Eminem, Oprah Winfrey and Tom Hanks to mentor the teen superstar.

The Baby hitmaker’s ill-advised antics on tour and at home in California, which have included brushes with the law and headline-grabbing incidents, have prompted big names to offer up their help and advice.

Bieber’s bad behavior has included nightclub altercations, arguments with his neighbours, disappointing fans by rushing through meet and greet sessions and public urinating  claims.

The incidents have prompted a slew of concerned celebrities to reach out to Braun to see if there is anything they can do to help the youngster avoid destroying his career, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In a candid new interview with Braun and Bieber, the singer’s manager reveals he has fielded calls and emails from Winfrey, singer Adam Levine, rapper Drake and Mark Wahlberg, while Hanks’ wife Rita Wilson offered up her husband’s counselling skills to help the 19 year old avoid the pitfalls of fame.

And Braun claims Eminem’s manager, Paul Rosenberg, told him, “If you ever want Eminem to talk to him (Bieber), he would do it in a second. He cares about that kid.”

Braun has yet to take up the stars’ offers to advise Bieber during times of trouble as there is already one big name who is trying to keep the teen in check – Will Smith.

Braun claims Smith, whose son Jaden is good friends with the singer, once paid Bieber a much-needed visit and pulled him out of bed for a three-hour chat.

The manager recalls, “He (Bieber) said, ‘Man, that makes me feel so loved. I woke up, and there’s Will Smith, one of, if not the, biggest movie stars on the planet. He took time out of his day for me.'”

Smith has continued to make himself available to Bieber for weekly phone conferences, but the Independence Day actor has warned Braun the youngster will have to live and learn from his own mistakes: “He’s telling me: ‘Justin’s got to go through it. You can’t stop him from going through it. That’s youth in itself. He’s a young man who’s growing up, and that’s what makes him interesting and relatable. Otherwise, he’d be some kind of weird robot.'”

During the interview, Bieber expressed his carefree attitude towards his critics, saying, “I don’t (care) what they say… I know who I am and what I’m doing in my life and what I’ve accomplished and continue to accomplish as a performer, as a writer, as an artist, as a person, as a human being. I’m happy with the man I’m becoming.”

Justin Bieber Leaves Hospital, Still “Feeling A Little Under The Weather"

Justin Bieber’s rough week in London is ending on a good note – the pop star was released from the hospital early Friday morning following a brief stay.

“He’s been released from the hospital early this a.m. after a check-up and while he’s feeling a little under the weather, he’s planning on going ahead with tonight’s show,” a Bieber rep said.

The 19-year-old was taken to the hospital Thursday night after collapsing on stage at O2 Arena in London. He complained of being “very light of breath” and receiving oxygen from paramedics, according to his manager Scooter Braun.

Braun got on stage and explained the situation to Bieber’s fans. “Justin got very light of breath. The whole show he’s been complaining, and he’s backstage with the EMTs and the doctor,” he announced. “They’re telling him that they want him to go see somebody and see what’s going on with his lungs.”

The health scare is the latest in a string of unfortunate events for Bieber on his London visit. He claimed to have had his “worst birthday ever” last week because of reports claiming he was celebrating his 19th birthday at a London nightclub with Will Smith’s underage son, 14-year-old Jaden. Bieber defended himself on Instagram with a solid black picture and the caption: “The funny moment when people believe I brought underage people to a club.. U think Will is letting his 14 year old in a club, I don’t think so.”

On Tuesday, he took to Twitter to apologize to fans for being late for a concert Monday night. “Last night I was scheduled after three opening acts to go on stage at 9:35, not 8:30, but because of some technical issues I got on at 10:10. So I was 40 minutes late to the stage,” he wrote. “There is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was a great show and I’m proud of that.”

Will Smith  has dismissed reports suggesting he and wife Jada Pinkett Smith are on the verge of splitting up, insisting their marriage is “intact”.
